A good deal
As it turns out, we got a good deal on the Fiesta plates at the Brimfield show. My research turned up positive news that the marking on the back is consistent with pre-80s manufacture. Also, the yellow is not consistent with the new yellow that was created in the mid-80s. While there are scratches and discoloration on the plates, we pretty much paid what someone would pay for just one plate on eBay. I don’t think they’re from the 30s, and I don’t know that I have the time or inclination to find out what year they were made, but it’s nice to have my first Fiesta pieces and know that they are vintage.

Yeah, isn’t it? Yellow is purty.
