what does james bond wear?
I’m going to this tonight.
For some reason they want you to dress up like you are from a James Bond movie, which I suppose is the essence of the name of the winning drink: The Killer Martini.
What does James Bond wear? Besides a tuxedo.
And a Bond girl (besides a bathing suit)?
I was always partial to the Roger Moore era, although in hindsight I think Sean Connery’s 007 was much more handsome. As far as Bond Girls go, nobody does it better than Barbara Bach (although I want to know who is to blame for that movie Caveman).

Then again, you could always just paint yourself gold.
My fave Bond girl? Ursula Andress (Dr. No). Mostly because of the diving knife. That girl sure knew how to accessorize.

Oh, yeah…Bond. He also looked snappy in argyle, ban-lon shirts, khakis, and top-siders. Then there was his military uniform (I believe he held Commander rank in the British Navy). Very snappy.
But the tux rules. Cocktail dinner wear. Shawl lapels.

i don’t think a tux is available

I have a tux. Well, I have the jacket, and a pleated white shirt, anyhow. But I usually wear it with black jeans and very Beatlish Chelsea boots, so it’s way non-Bond.
GDV is playing a wine-tasting fundraiser gig on the 18th, so I’ll be thusly attired that evening.
I’m sure you’ll look super no matter what you come up with.

Might be too late, but the gypsy fight scene from From Russia with Love is a personal Bond fave…
