this is so not the end!
I’m an idiot. My classes run through dec. , NOT nov. … so I have another full month to enjoy my sewing class. I was totally not into the class tonight. I am not sure, but sometimes I miss social cues that I should be picking up on. Sometimes you need to be completely clear with me. Sometimes I can’t read between the lines. What does it mean when a woman you’ve never met before comes up to you waving a piece of paper and asks, "Will you be continuing on?"
"Continuing on?"
"To the next class."
I answered, "I don’t know." Because I really didn’t know. So she walked away, sort of annoyed. I’m not the brightest lady around (exhibit A: I thought my class ended a month earlier than it does), but I think she meant next semester.
So, self, will you be continuing on?
I think that after another month I’ll be done with the sewing class. I mean, I am learning a lot, but my patience level has sort of hit a wall.

I don’t know what she meant either. It’s OK to come out and ask, “what do you mean?” A lot of times when I ask that, the person means something different than what my best guess was. I learned that lesson the hard way — dressed in a Catholic school girl’s outfit in on the shores of Nova Scotia with only a bicycle and a book of dirty French phrases.

It may be time for you to allow your sewing prowess to develop outside the confines of a class.

Ash = lol
I fear that I actually NEED the class more than I want it.

Why sew when you can glue?
