suck it up
Matt is right now trying to fix our vacuum cleaner–the one we were so excited about late last year. It’s stopped sucking right, which sucks. The claw attachment also stopped working properly about a month ago. I just wrote a lengthy email to Hoover about how annoyed I am.
In other consumer-related news, I got our cable company to knock $30 off our bill for the next three months. I had been calling to downgrade our package/see what other packages were out there, so I guess it was worth their while to save us $90 this spring so they could keep us at our same level of service.
I’ll take it.

Jennifer and I kicked our Comcast bill down to “Basic Cable” — essentially what you used to be able to get with rabbit ears stuck to the back of the coaxial connector.
She misses cooking shows and I miss “The Daily Show” but that’s about it. I would do it again.

That’s what we were planning to do, but then they offered us the sweet $30 off and I was all yeah totally dude. So, after June I guess we’ll be going down to basic. Rodney, the guy on the phone, told me all about their other packages, none of which include Comedy Central (except Expanded Basic, which we already have.). Packages may vary. Check your local listings.
