in the parking lot – part 2
Inspired by Heather’s comment, I photoshopped (or rather “shopped” as they say) one of my parking lot images. I just quickly edited the image, without grabbing the original, so there could be some noise as a result. Check it out after the jump. Thanks for the suggestion, Heather!
I’m getting there. . . .

That’s beautiful. It makes the parking lot look like a bit of a fantasy land.

Very Cool! Can I do these effects in Photoshop Express?
By Kristen, May 2, 2008 @ 4:11 pm
I’m assuming you can.
I have Photoshop 6.0. Haven’t dabbled much in Express, although I did sign up for it. In my Photoshop, it’s under the Image menu –> adjust –> hue/saturation
I also went in and played with Color Balance a little bit.

Ahh Yes! Thank you Kristen, that was very helpful.

Getting a book on photoshop (library if you don’t want to buy it) can be very helpful. I have a good guide to 7.0 (not much different than 6) if you ever want to borrow it.

Oss! Glad to be of service. I use curves and sometimes levels, too. Channels on occasion, too. Oh and adjustment layers! But cranking up that saturation can be a quick and dirty way to add some snaz! I can’t wait for Amy, you and I to go on a photo adventch at this summer on vacay!
Exclamation point!
