Here are the rest of my photos from our trip to Brimfield. I didn’t take a lot of them. I was too busy restraining myself from buying everything. We made out with two Fiesta rim bowls (more like salad plates to me), a Fiesta butter dish, and I got a pretty pair of earrings that match my engagement ring.

The Project Runway finale is tonight, after which we’re going to either cancel or downgrade our cable, because, really, what is there to watch on cable anymore, unless you have the premium channels (which we don’t)?

WKC Best in Show

The standard poodle may have just gotten some boos from the audience as the best in show competition kicks off.

Favorite: PBGV (left) – the winner in tonight’s hound group. Beat those poodles and that dandy shrimp-looking thing (right) too!

Poodles dominate day 1 of WKC

In bunk dog show news, the poodle lobbyists are obviously paying off judges! Not one but two poodles are in the running for Best in Show in New York at this week’s Westminster Kennel Club Show.

First up – in the toy group (left) it’s the toy poodle who beat the Pug and Brussels Griffon. The only silver lining is that the poodle muscled the Pekingese out of first. That is small comfort as later in the non-sporting group competition, ANOTHER poodle took top prize, this time a standard (right).

I smell a scandal!

Place Your Bets – Project Runway

So, tonight is the night of Project Runway’s finale and I’m sure there are plenty of spoiler posts out there, but I will not be reading them. So, if you haven’t read them either and you are a PR fan, post your predictions in the comments. A) Will Jeffrey be eliminated from the competition and B) Who will win?

I’m going to go on record as saying that Jeffrey will get kicked off, but still gets to show at Bryant Park. (Actually, I know he gets to show because I saw photos from his show weeks ago.) I am also going to bet that B) Uli wins.

If I didn’t think Jeffrey were getting kicked off I would say he will win. Michael, the favored designer, doesn’t have a strong collection. Laura’s pieces are well-made, but I think the judges will end up thinking that they’re too matronly.

So, to recap:

A) Does Jeffrey get kicked off?
B) Who wins Project Runway Season 3?
